The Board of Directors approves 10 new projects

On March 1, 2021, the Board of Directors of the VGP Foundation held its third board meeting during which new project proposals were evaluated and approved.

We are very pleased to announce that the board approved 10 new projects!

Newly approved projects

5 social projects

- Tvoj Buddy (Slovakia)

- The green educational bastion (Dendermonde, BE)

- Krats along the short chain! (Wetteren, BE)

- Plankenkorts / Stage fright (Dendermonde, BE)

- Help build the nature garden at the Molsbroek Visitors' Centre (Lokeren, BE)

4 projects around nature conservation

- Increasing stability of forest covers in Liberec region in 2021 (CZ)

- Aristeu Bee Project in the VGP park Lliçà d'AmuntSpain (Spain)

- Restoration of Transcarpathian Peatlands 'Chorne Bagno'v (Ukraine)

- Snow leopard conservation through envir. sustainable production of yak wool

1 project related to European cultural heritage

- The 'Basses Danses' of Margaret of Austria (BE)
