CINDERELLA 2025 by Junior Ballet Antwerp

After celebrating its first lustrum in 2024 with JAMES, an original and theatrical ballet performance based on the life and oeuvre of Belgian Artist James Ensor, Junior Ballet Antwerp takes young and old on a magical journey with the re-creation of Charles Perrault's fairytale CINDERELLA. 

Originally created in 2023 with as back drop the interior of the Antwerp Handelsbeurs, CINDERELLA is now being re-imagined for the more intimate space of a theatre. 

With choreography by JBA’s leaders Alain Honorez and Altea Nuñez, this version of the tale, one as old as time, combines romance and humor all the while offering its young artists the opportunity to develop their classical and technical proficiency. 

Praised by public and critics, this four-star production includes the original Prokofiev score, ravishing costumes and a spectacular video projection, which together will trigger everyone’s imagination. 

CINDERELLA will premier in HetPaleis, Antwerp on May 30, 2025 and will be touring through Belgium in the Spring of 2026.
